  • Yes, we repair the following brands of Robotic Cleaners for in-ground swimming pools: Maytronics, Polaris, Hayward, Pentair.
  • We do not currently provide in-store cleaning services for pressure side or suction side pool cleaners.
YES! We are an official Maytronics Warranty Center. Bring it by and we will handle the rest.

No returns on any and all chemicals.

Products sold by The Pool Boys Retail Store are covered by Manufacturer's warranties and subject to their terms. Equipment that was not installed by The Pool Boys and failed to work properly is subject to the manufacturer's Warranty.

If for any reason you are unhappy with a product from The Pool Boys Retail Store, return it with receipt within 15 days. Item must be in its original container in original condition for an exchange or store credit equal to our original purchase price.

A restocking fee of 15% will be charged on any opened automatic pool cleaners, pumps, booster pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, motors, automation controllers, and any special ordered items, unless defective.

Returned checks will have a $25.00 returned check fee applied to your balance due.

Pool Equipment Services

As of November 1st, 2018 our Service Call Fee is $75.00. This fee is to cover our time to send a Licensed, Insured, and Experienced Technician out to diagnose any issues and provide an estimate for any work. Our Service Call Fee is due at the time of scheduling and is refundable if you decide to cancel your appointment.
The Pool Boys hourly rate is $125.00/hr and our jobs are based off of “Book Labor” according to each job type. Our Technicians individually carry and maintain the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Residential Appliance Installer License (RAIL). The Pool Boys company also carries and maintains TDLR Residential Appliance Contractor License. Both are required by law in order for us to properly complete repairs and installs for our customers.
We do not repair underground leaks or offer any leak detection.
If there is a situation that requires immediate service we will handle it case by case. An Emergency Service Call fee of $150 may be assessed. After Hours & Weekend Appointments may be subject to after hours/weekend hourly rate.
For parts that are purchased from a 3rd party we charge Double Labor. Please understand that there will also be no warranty on our work and no assistance from The Pool Boys should any warranty issues occur. You will be solely responsible for contacting the Manufacturer to get any warranty claims going.
60 day on labor. Parts sold by The Pool Boys are covered by Manufacturer’s warranties and are subject to their terms. Manufacturer's warranties are generally a standard 1 year for whole goods & 30 days on replacement parts - Please see manufacturer for specific warranty coverages. Certain equipment, or bundled installs, may have higher warranties such as 3 - 4 years. Contact us for more info.
We no longer provide remodeling services, however, we have taken the time to vette and pick a trusted referral to get these jobs done for our customers. If you are interested in having your pool remodeled and would like us to make an introduction to our trusted referral please contact our office.
If the technician can access your pool equipment you do not have to be home at the time of service. If access to breakers or pool controllers inside of the house/garage is needed, special arrangements for access may need to be made. **If The Pool Boys have to make a return trip due to access reasons 30 minutes will be added to the total job labor.

Home Warranty Claims & Process - If your home warranty provider has assigned The Pool Boys to service your claim, here are some answers to questions you may have.

If you have not pre-paid then there is a Service Fee due. Your warranty provider should notify you when you put in your claim.
**The amount may vary depending on your provider and your policy.
We will process your Service Call at the time of scheduling your visit. If you cannot pay by card arrangements can be made to pay by check. Service Fees must be collected prior to performing any work.
If the technician can access your pool equipment you do not have to be home at the time of service. If access to breakers or pool controllers inside of the house/garage is needed, special arrangements for access may need to be made.
In most cases it will be 2-3 days for us to return. If parts are special order it may take as long as 7-14 days to receive them. We will be communicating with you as much as possible and you are always welcome to call our office and check the status of a work order.
If we call to schedule and get an answering machine we will leave a message stating the day we would like to schedule.  If we do not receive a confirmation prior to that day we will have to reschedule for our next available day.  We would recommend that you make sure your warranty provider has the correct contact phone number on file for when they send your work orders to us.
If you have provided us with special instructions such as "call ahead," please be sure you have your phone readily available.  If we cannot reach you we will leave a message.  If we do not receive a call back and nobody is at the home we will reschedule.
Access must be provided by the homeowner.  (Ex. if there is a fence around the pool equipment that is preventing us from removing a pool heater, arrangements must be made to provide access.)
The decision on whether a repair is approved or not is made solely by your home warranty company.

Payment Information

We accept cash, checks, and credit card.    
All jobs over $400.00 require a 60% deposit prior to scheduling any work.
The Pool Boys does not offer any financing. We encourage our customers to go to LightStream for financing needed.
We ask that no payments are sent through the mail. 
Yes, after all work is completed and final payment has been made you will receive an emailed receipt.
There is $25.00 returned check fee.
